The Year in Grade 2

Students encounter increasingly complex challenges in the form of engaging games and daily puzzles. They create and pattern their own calendar markers in some months and solve mystery patterns in others. Students use coins, tile, and Unifix® cubes to create visual models that help them understand concepts including place value, patterning, odd and even numbers, and much more. The student book provides additional practice with these and other concepts. Number Corner routines take an average of 15-20 minutes per day.
